Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree Certificate & Transcripts
- Certified copies of academic qualifications
- Master’s Degree Certificate & Transcripts (if applicable)
- For PhD applicants
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Resume
- Academic and/or professional experience
- Supervisor Invitation/Acceptance Letter
- You must first contact a potential supervisor and get their agreement to supervise you
- Include this letter with your application
- Curtin University Admission Application
- Submit an official application for HDR admission (Master by Research or PhD)
- Research Proposal or Statement of Intent
- Outline your research project and how it aligns with Curtin’s areas of interest
- English Language Proficiency Test Results
- IELTS, TOEFL, or equivalent (required if you’re from a non-English speaking country)
- Two Academic Referee Reports
- Contact referees early so they can submit before deadlines
- Passport Copy
- For international applicants
- Additional Documents (if required by specific projects)
- Some research projects may have extra requirements (e.g., portfolio, coding sample, publications)
