DESY Summer Student Program 2026 in Germany

The applications are now open for the DESY Summer Student Program 2026, a fully funded summer internship in Germany for Bachelor’s and Master’s students from around the world. Each year, DESY selects up to 100 international students to participate in this 8-week research program at one of Europe’s largest and most prestigious laboratories. The DESY Summer Program 2026 will run from 21 July to 10 September 2026. There is no application fee, and IELTS is not required to apply. Selected students will work on research projects in physics or related fields such as computing and engineering at the DESY laboratories in Hamburg or Zeuthen, near Berlin.
