About This Opportunity

Applications are now open for the Harvard LEAD Fellows Program 2026/27 in the United States. This prestigious and fully funded one-year fellowship is designed for emerging global health leaders who aspire to create lasting change in their communities. The Harvard LEAD (Learn, Engage, Advance, Disrupt) Fellowship will run both virtually and in-person from September 1, 2026, to August 31, 2027. The Fall semester will be conducted online, while the Spring semester will take place in person at Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, for 6 weeks in April 2027. This fully funded Harvard fellowship covers stipend, visa fees, international airfare, accommodation, meals, and program-related expenses, allowing fellows to focus on leadership growth and professional development. Eligibility

  • Self-Nomination: Candidates must nominate themselves by applying.
  • Educational Requirement: Applicants must possess a minimum of a master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Professional Experience:
  • Applicants must be currently working full-time in the field of global health.
  • They must have at least 10 years of professional experience (work completed as a university student does not count).
  • Employer Support: Applicants must have the full support of their employer and a champion in their organization who will serve as a reference.
  • Time Commitment & Residency:
  • Applicants must take a leave of absence (or equivalent) from their home institution during the 6-week in-residence experience in April 2027.
  • Applicants must be able to reside in Boston, MA.
