About This Opportunity
Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) is now accepting applications for the fully funded International Writers’ Workshop (IWW), taking place from 2–29 March 2026 in Hong Kong. Open to writers worldwide with at least one published book, the 4-week residency covers round-trip airfare, accommodation, and a daily allowance. Participants will engage in literary activities, including a Welcome Ceremony and a final Literary Festival themed “Here and There.” No age limit or fees apply. Writers proficient in English or Chinese and living outside Hong Kong are eligible. The application deadline is 7 September 2025.

Eligibility
- 1. Applicants must have at least one published book.

- 3. Applicants must have a good command of English or Chinese language ((Mandarin or Cantonese).
- 4. Applicants must attend the complete residency program from 2-26 March, 2026.
- 5. Applicants must attend the welcome ceremony and literary festival.
- 6. Applicants should apply before the deadline.
