Applications are now open for the LawAI Summer Fellowship 2026 in the USA, a fully funded international fellowship for applicants from all around the world. The Institute for Law & AI is offering a paid summer fellowship for law students, academics, and professionals interested in research on AI law and policy. The goal of the LawAI Fellowship is to train future leaders in artificial intelligence to ensure that AI development remains safe, ethical, and beneficial for society. Fellows will work closely with expert mentors and engage with policymakers, researchers, and industry leaders. This remote-first fellowship runs for 10 weeks, from June 15 to August 21, 2026, and includes an in-person week from June 22 to 26 hosted either in Washington, D.C., or Berkeley, California.
