Benefits

  • There are no application fees.
  • Full tuition fees will be covered throughout the scholarship period.
  • Monthly living allowance of RM 1,500 will be provided to support basic living expenses.
  • Opportunity to pursue Master’s or PhD studies at leading Malaysian universities.

Eligibility

  • Currently enrolled in full-time postgraduate studies at Malaysian public universities or selected private institutions, with at least two semesters remaining before completion.
  • Applicants must be citizens of MIS recipient countries.
  • Age should not exceed 40 years for Master’s applicants and 45 years for PhD applicants at the time of application.
  • Master’s applicants should possess a CGPA of 3.0 or a Second Class Upper (Honours) degree or higher.
  • PhD applicants should possess a CGPA of 3.0 or excellent academic results at the Master’s level in a relevant field.
  • English language proficiency is required:
  • IELTS: 6.0 or higher, or
  • TOEFL (paper-based): 550 or higher, or
  • Previous degree obtained with English as the medium of instruction (official letter required).
  • Research proposal with a minimum of 1,000 words is required for Master’s by Research and PhD applicants.
