About This Opportunity

Applications for the MIDE Master’s Program in Germany will open soon, offering an excellent opportunity for international students to study development economics in Europe with full financial support. The program is hosted at HTW Berlin University of Applied Sciences and supported by the German Academic Exchange Service under the EPOS scholarship scheme. This 18-month postgraduate program takes place in Berlin, Germany, and allows eligible students to receive full funding that covers living expenses, travel allowance, and health insurance, while the program service fee is also waived for DAAD scholarship recipients.   • Proof of professional experience (required for DAAD scholarship applicants)

Eligibility

  • For the MIDE Program:
  • Applicants must hold a recognized undergraduate degree (minimum 180 ECTS or equivalent).
  • Applicants should have some background in Economics (economics courses are recommended).
  • Additional requirements may apply for degrees from non-European universities.
  • Applicants must provide proof of English proficiency (TOEFL 96 or IELTS 7.0) if their previous degree was not taught in English.
  • For the DAAD Scholarship:
  • Applicants must be from developing or newly industrialized countries.
  • Applicants must have at least two years of professional work experience after graduation.
  • The most recent university degree should have been completed within the last six years.
