NHR Scholarships in Germany 2026 | Funded PhD Program
Applications are open for the NHR Scholarships in Germany 2026–2029. The program offers international students the chance to pursue a PhD in High-Performance Computing (HPC) at one of the nine NHR Centers across Germany. Scholars will receive €2,200 per month for up to 36 months along with training, workshops, and supervision from top researchers.

Eligibility
- Students of all genders and backgrounds can apply for PhD scholarship at NHR.
- Applicants must have completed a master’s degree program in the fields of computer science, mathematics, natural sciences, engineering, or a related field.
- Applicants should fulfill the admission requirements for doctoral studies of the respective NHR Center.
- Applicants must read and meet the additional acceptance requirements mentioned in the subject-specific doctoral regulations.
- Incomplete applications will not be considered.
