About This Opportunity

The NTU Singapore Global Connect Fellowship 2026 is a prestigious fully funded international research fellowship that offers undergraduate and graduate students from around the world the opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research at Nanyang Technological University, one of the world’s top public research institutions. This two- to three-month fellowship in Singapore allows Global Connect Fellows to work closely with world-class faculty mentors on innovative research projects across multiple disciplines while experiencing life on NTU’s smart, modern, and globally recognized campus, ranked among the top 15 most beautiful campuses worldwide. Open to students from all academic backgrounds with a strong interest in research and degrees expected in 2026, the fellowship provides extensive research exposure, professional development master seminars, and hands-on academic training, with a three-month duration for College of Science fellows and two months for all other schools. Fellows actively participate in workshops, seminars, and networking events, present their research findings at the GCF Symposium, and engage with professionals, academics, and peers from diverse cultures, fostering collaboration, teamwork, and long-lasting global connections. Set in Singapore, a vibrant, advanced, and multicultural hub that serves as a gateway to Asia, the NTU Global Connect Fellowship 2026 is an exceptional opportunity for students seeking international research experience, academic excellence, and global networking in a dynamic research environment.

  • Copy of valid passport.
  • Academic reference letters are optional.
  • Statement of Purpose
  • 1–2-minute video to explain the purpose and motivation to join this fellowship.

Benefits

  • Full tuition fees will be waived.
  • Free on-campus twin-sharing accommodation will be provided.
  • A one-time settling-in allowance of SGD 2,000 will be awarded in the first month.
  • A monthly stipend of SGD 1,500 will be given to support living expenses.
  • Fellows will be provided with free accommodation on NTU’s campus.

Eligibility

  • Current Bachelor’s or Master’s (by Research) students graduating in 2026 or 2027 are eligible for the Summer Fellowship intake.
  • Students who have already graduated cannot apply.
  • Students preferably from STEM backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
  • Applicants should have a strong interest in conducting research and pursuing PhD studies at NTU.
