OHCHR Minorities Fellowship 2026 in Switzerland

The applications are now open for the OHCHR Minorities Fellowship 2026, a fully funded fellowship program for international candidates from all over the world. This fellowship runs for four to five weeks and will take place in the Fall of 2026 in Geneva, Switzerland. Each year, around 15 to 20 candidates are selected per language group, including English, Russian, and Arabic. There is no application fee, and formal education is not a requirement, making it accessible to passionate human rights and minority rights defenders. The OHCHR Minorities Fellowship covers all major expenses such as airfare, insurance, accommodation, and living costs, and includes educational visits to other cities. This training program equips fellows with a strong understanding of the United Nations system and its mechanisms for protecting and promoting human rights and minority rights.
