About This Opportunity

The Taiwan ICDF Scholarship Program is a prestigious fully funded scholarship opportunity designed for students from developing countries who aspire to contribute to sustainable development in their home nations. This international scholarship in Taiwan offers fully funded Master’s and PhD degree programs through partner universities across Taiwan. The program aims to equip participants with advanced knowledge and practical skills to support socio-economic development, strengthen human resources, and promote international cooperation. The International Cooperation and Development Fund (ICDF) offers more than 30 academic programs under this scholarship, covering a wide range of disciplines. Students from backgrounds such as agriculture, business administration, international studies, public health, mechatronics and automation engineering, electrical power engineering, industrial and civil engineering, natural disaster management, pharmacy, arts and creative industries, educational leadership, tourism and hospitality, and urban governance are eligible to apply. This diversity allows international students to select programs aligned with their academic interests and national development priorities. The Taiwan ICDF is globally recognized for its humanitarian and development initiatives, including disaster relief, technical assistance, international training, and investment support. Through this scholarship program, students gain exposure to disaster management strategies, development planning, and sustainable practices, helping them build a strong sense of social responsibility and global citizenship. These skills enable graduates to play an active role in addressing challenges faced by their communities and countries. The Taiwan ICDF Scholarship is fully funded and covers major expenses, including round-trip airfare, accommodation, health insurance, and medical coverage. In addition, scholars receive a generous monthly living allowance of up to USD 18,000 per year to support food and daily expenses. Beyond academic benefits, participants also experience Taiwanese culture, society, and innovation during their stay. This makes the Taiwan ICDF Scholarship Program an excellent opportunity for international students seeking high-quality education, global exposure, and meaningful impact through sustainable development.
