About This Opportunity
The applications are now open for the Tsinghua Amgen Scholars Program 2026. The Tsinghua University China Amgen Scholars Program is a Fully Funded 8-week Summer Internship at Tsinghua University. This program is for students to conduct research in a Tsinghua University Lab and gain experience in the sciences. IELTS is not required if you are studying in an English-speaking university. Tsinghua University is looking to welcome applicants in the Summer of 2026. This Summer Internship in China will take place from June 4th to August 6th, 2026. Previous research experience is not required. There is another Internship in China at USTC, you can check the USTC China International Winter Camp 2025. More details are below.
Benefits
- Each recipient receives a $40,000 scholarship, distributed as $10,000 annually over four years.
- Scholarship recipients are offered a paid summer internship at Amazon after their freshman year of college.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be high school seniors planning to enroll in a full-time undergraduate program in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or other related fields of study.
- Applicants must plan to attend an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Demonstration of significant financial need is required. This is typically assessed through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- A minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.3 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) is required.
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
