Tokyo Metropolitan University Scholarship 2026 in Japan (Fully Funded)
Applications are open for the Tokyo Metropolitan University (TMU) Scholarship 2026 under the Tokyo Global Partner Scholarship Program. International students can apply for Master’s (2 years) and Ph.D. (3 years) programs.

Available Fields:
Master’s: Health Sciences, Systems Design, Urban Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Tourism Science, etc.
Ph.D.: Humanities, Law, Politics, Management, Science, Languages, Sociology, Psychology, and more.
Eligibility:
Master’s: must hold a Bachelor’s degree
Ph.D.: must hold a Master’s degree
Applicants must belong to TMU partner institutions, Tokyo’s sister cities, or Asian countries/regions.

Eligibility
- For Master’s applicants: Be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program.
- For Ph.D. applicants: Be currently enrolled in a master’s degree program.
- Institutional Affiliation: The academic institution where you are enrolled (as mentioned above) must be:
- A partner institution of TMU, OR
- A higher education institution located in:
- Any of Tokyo’s sister cities, OR
- Any other Asian country or region.
- Professional Affiliation (Alternative/Additional): Alternatively, or in addition, applicants may be eligible if they work in:
- A research institution,
- A governmental organization, OR
- A company.
- The location of this organization must be in:
- Any of Tokyo’s sister cities, OR
- Any other Asian country or region.
