Applications are now open for the UCA–Cambridge Trust Scholarship Program 2026-2027. This prestigious fully funded scholarship in the UK is offered by the University of Central Asia (UCA) in collaboration with the Cambridge Trust, providing outstanding students a chance to study at the world-renowned University of Cambridge. This highly competitive University of Cambridge scholarship for international students covers full tuition fees, an annual living stipend, visa expenses, and the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS). In addition, scholars receive round-trip travel expenses, and PhD candidates also benefit from an Annual Research Allowance. Eligible Fields of Study The UCA–Cambridge Scholarship Program supports graduate and postgraduate studies in the following areas: Earth, Climate & Environmental Sciences Computer & Data Sciences Media & Communications Development Economics Climate Economics & Public Policy Public Health & Health Economics Cultural Heritage & Society Applicants are strongly encouraged to propose research related to Central Asia, and PhD scholars are expected to conduct fieldwork in the region during the second or third year of their program.   • Curriculum Vitae/ resume.
  • All documents relevant to the eligibility criteria mentioned above.
  • Personal statement.
  • A short research proposal.
  • A copy of your passport.
  • Academic Transcripts and Diplomas.

Benefits

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be citizens of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.
  • Applicants from the founding states will be given priority.
  • Applicants from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan can also apply.
  • Candidates should have higher education degree with outstanding academic records from a recognized university.
  • Applicants must have interest in master’s or PhD program in disciplines relevant to UCA fields of interest.
  • Candidates should have interest in academics (research and teaching).
  • Applicants should show their competency in the selected discipline.
  • Applicants must show commitment to undertaking employment with UCA in teaching or research after completing the scholarship program.
  • Candidates should have excellent English language skills (IELTS score of 7.5 or TOEFL score of 110).
  • Applicants are required to provide GRE General Test scores for Economics programs if the applicant doesn’t have a degree from a UK institution. GMAT tests will not be accepted.
