About This Opportunity

Applications are now open for the Woods Hole Summer Student Fellowship 2026 in the USA. This prestigious program offers a fully funded 10-week summer internship for international students from all countries. Every year, the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) selects around 25–30 talented students to participate in this immersive research experience. There is no application fee, and all expenses are fully covered, making it one of the best fully funded internships in the United States. The Woods Hole Summer Student Fellowship takes place in Massachusetts at the world-renowned WHOI research center. Eligibility

  • The Woods Hole Summer Fellowship is open to all International students.
  • Applicants must be undergraduate students who will have completed their junior year by the start of the fellowship.
  • Graduates are not eligible.
  • Students in a three-year Bachelor’s program should be in their second year.
  • Those in a five-year combined Bachelor’s/Master’s program should be in their third year.
