Applications are now open for the WTO Young Trade Leaders Program 2026, an exciting global opportunity for young individuals to gain a deeper understanding of international trade and its impact on the global economy. Requirements

  • Program Requirements Between the ages of 18 and 28 on the date of application.
  • Have a strong interest in International Trade.
  • Must be a citizen of a WTO member
  • Good level of english and can communicate in English.
  • Committed to participating fully throughout the one-year programme (July 2026-June 2027).
  • Required Documents
  • CV (no more than two pages)
  • A 2-3 minute video introducing yourself, expressing your interest, and explaining the impact you hope to have as a Young Trade Leader.
  • A 300-word essay on:
  • How can trade better serve the next generation?
  • What role should young people play in shaping the future of trade?
