MITACS Globalink Research Internship 2026 in Canada (Fully Funded)
Applications are open for the MITACS Globalink Research Internship 2026 in Canada. This fully funded 12-week internship runs from May to October 2026 at top Canadian universities with advanced research facilities. Open to undergraduate and combined bachelor’s/master’s students, with no IELTS required.

Duration: 12 Weeks (May–Oct 2026)
Coverage: Airfare, housing stipend, food, health insurance, enrollment fees, mentorship, professional events
Deadline: 17th September 2025
Eligibility:
Be 18+ and meet GPA requirements
1–3 semesters remaining by Fall 2026
Students from 15+ eligible countries (incl. Pakistan, UK, USA, Germany, France, etc.)
Reference letter, transcripts, updated CV
Apply for 3–10 projects in at least 3 Canadian provinces
Passport valid till Jan 2027

Eligibility
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Meet the GPA requirements set for each country.
- Have at least one to three semesters left as of fall 2026.
- You are welcome to apply if you don’t currently have a valid passport.
- Obtain a reference letter from a professor.
- Updated CV.
- Obtain your academic transcripts (in either English or French).
- Apply to a minimum of three and a maximum of ten projects and ensure selections are from at least three different Canadian provinces.
- Passport Validity should be till January 2027.
