Applications are now open for the WD2026 Media Scholarships to attend the Women Deliver 2026 Conference in Australia. Scheduled from 27–30 April 2026 in Narrm (Melbourne), this four-day global event will bring together changemakers, journalists, and advocates from around the world to advance gender equality, women’s rights, and social justice. The program offers an incredible opportunity for media professionals to amplify voices, share impactful stories, and engage in meaningful discussions on critical global issues. There is no application fee, and candidates from all countries are encouraged to apply. The WD2026 Conference Media Scholarships are fully funded and cover airfare, accommodation, meals, visa costs, local transport, insurance, and all related expenses. Selected participants will not only gain access to exclusive sessions and networking opportunities but also contribute to shaping the global conversation on gender equality and development. Eligibility

  • Candidates from around the world are eligible to apply.
  • The Scholarship is open to the:
  • Reporters, editors, producers, and presenters/anchors.
  • Photojournalists, videographers, and broadcast teams.
  • Podcast/radio journalists and newsroom social/visual teams.
  • Freelancers with a commissioning/assignment letter.
  • Content creators who produce independent, factual coverage on social issues.
  • Media and content creators with a demonstrated focus on gender equality, health, human rights, climate justice, development, or Oceanic Pacific issues.
  • First Nations and Indigenous journalists and creators.
  • LGBTQIA+ people, persons with disabilities, internally displaced persons and refugees, and those from under-resourced communities
  • Early-career journalists/creators and applicants who have not previously received a ‘Women Deliver Conference Scholarship.
