World Forum for Democracy 2025 | Fully Funded Trip to France
Apply now for the World Forum for Democracy 2025 in Strasbourg, France, hosted by the Council of Europe. The 3-day forum will take place from 5–7 November 2025, with youth delegates arriving on 2 November.
This year’s theme: "Democracy at Risk: How Can We Revive It?"
Join global youth, policymakers, journalists, academics, and civil society leaders to discuss democratic challenges and innovative solutions.
No application fee. Open to youth worldwide.
Requirements
- You’ll need to provide the following during the online application:
- Personal Information (Name, Date of Birth, Nationality, Country of Residence)
- Contact Details (Email, Phone, Address)
- CV/Resume
- Motivation Letter (usually around 300–500 words)
- Why do you want to join?
- What experience do you have in democracy/civic participation?
- How will you contribute to the Forum?
- Details of Your Current Involvement
- Your role in any youth/civic/democracy-focused organization
- Examples of relevant work or initiatives
- Language Proficiency Confirmation (English)
- Passport/ID Copy (might be asked after selection)

Eligibility
- Youth from all countries are eligible.
- You need to be between 18 and 30 years old.
- You must be able to communicate and work in English.
- You should be actively involved in youth or other civil society organizations that focus on finding creative solutions to revive democracy.
- You must be motivated to share your experiences with democracy and help develop new ideas for its revitalization.
