International Writers Workshop 2027 in Hong Kong

Applications are now open for the International Writers Workshop 2027 in Hong Kong, a fully funded residency program for writers from around the world. Organized by the International Writers’ Workshop Hong Kong at Hong Kong Baptist University, this prestigious program offers a unique platform for writers to develop their craft in an international setting.

The International Writers Workshop will take place in Hong Kong from 26 February to 25 March 2027. This fully funded workshop invites writers of all genres to spend a month focusing on their creative work while engaging with a diverse community of international authors.

The theme for 2027 is “Inheritance.” While applicants are encouraged to explore this theme in their writing, it is not mandatory. Participants will have the freedom to work on their own projects, share their stories, and exchange ideas with fellow writers.

This residency program provides an inspiring and collaborative environment where participants can refine their writing skills, gain new perspectives, and build global literary connections. The program concludes with the IWW Literary Festival, where writers present their work and celebrate creativity.
